28 Feb Fourth Manufacturing Plant Groundbreaking Ceremony
Greatech celebrated a major milestone on February 28th for our fourth Manufacturing Plant Groundbreaking Ceremony located in Batu Kawan. By investing approximately 1.3 billion, the new plant is contributing to the industrial sector and economic development of Penang.
At the ceremony, our CEO, Dato’ EK Tan shared the company’s upcoming expansions to be focused on the four pillars in 5 years: Solar, E-Mobility, Life Science, and Semiconductor. With this expansion plan, the company is targeting another 500 headcounts to reach 1800 employees this year.
Greatech has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Tech Dome Penang as part of our CSR initiatives and sponsored a total of RM 400,000 to foster STEM development.
